This sculpture is located at the Tupper Street entrance of the Montreal Children's Hospital. It was sculpted and donated by Dr. Harry Rosen, Professor Emeritus in the Faculty of Dentistry at McGill University, to the children, parents and staff of this institution. Engraved on the plaque are these inspiring words ..... "I will be strong".

I love sculptures and this is a fun one! I just wish we had more statues and sculptures around my city!
It looks very very strong! Cool sculpture for a hospital :D
It seems not "little"
It´s wonderful!
Asking children to "be strong" while they are hospitalized is asking a lot, but it should be cautionary for the parents. Interesting sculpture and very sturdy looking.
Love it! I hope you have a good Sunday.
Looks strong to me! Good words to inspire.
To answer your question about people getting lost on the desert roads, sometimes if they wander off the main road people will get lost. But you are usually not likely to get lost if you just stay on the road and don't go wandering off on foot. It doesn't happen very often.
Hope your Sunday is restful.
Perfect for a kid's hospital - something they can relate to and also get some inspiration!
I am sure kids like it, very simple but powerful.
