After snapping some photos in Little Italy, I met a friend for late breakfast. We headed over to her latest find and currently her favorite lunch spot in the area, the "Plougastel: Boulangerie - Patisserie". It's actually a bakery and quaint café combined. My friend introduced me to the friendly owner and he was very enthusiastic and proud to show me all the baked goods on display. The "baker" was nearby and he explained to me that they only used natural ingredients - nothing artificial and that everything was baked, by him, on the premises. The address is: 6527 St. Laurent Blvd./corner Beaubien. See you there and bon café !

This looks like a nice relaxing place to stop by for a coffee. My cousin and I are going shopping in the area today, so we'll definitely pop in for our break. Just wondering if they will have tables outside because it will be sunny and a warm 20 C today, so we'll want to sit outdoors. Thanks and I look forward to reading your blog.

Yum, this looks like just the kind of spot for me. Thanks for the interesting hidden and not-so-hidden gems you have been highlighting.

As a pasty lover, it's easy for me to make a stop at this lovely new pastry shop in Little Italy. Very good place to take a break, relaxing with a good coffee and a fresh daily croissant, and the generous smiling of the owner and his wife who is the author of the nice pastry pieces that made with not only good quality of ingredients but also with love. Yummy!!!
