We're five days into the summer and all we've had is rain. Here are the blossoms of three Japanese Tree Peonies from my garden. They provide a much needed blast of colour and fragrance. Hope you enjoy!

Hopefully our rain breaks today so we too can enjoy flowers like these.
I'd love these blooms in a my vase.
Oh, what wonderful Pfingstrosen (peonies). I've some plants in my garden too, but unfortunately all plants are withered yet.
Thank you for your lovely comments on "Stuttgart Daily Photo".
Beautifull flowers and a complete photo blog.
Thanks,

Beautiful photographs of one of my favourite flowers. I especially like the last shot.
Peonies around here have been done for a couple of weeks! Did ants crawl out of those blooms? A lovely series of beautiful blooms!

Beautiful photo, full of inspiration. Oh, and what a smell!!
They are all beautiful especially that last one! Lovely!
They are so beautiful! I have three as well but two of mine unfortunately have no scent. and getting close to mid-winter here, we already have the first hyacinths and violets for perfume.
These flowers and their varied colors are amazing. Feel free to send some rain down our way.
