Lately, I have noticed more and more of these little guys in town. You can easily find parking for them and driving them may be doing less harm to the environment than if you were to drive your primary set of wheels. On closer inspection, I was very surprised that they were designed to reach a maximum of 160 km/h. Are you kidding me? Who in their right mind would try to reach that kind of speed on a
Vespa?

50 sounds about the right speed to me
160 sounds a bit much.
I'd love one of these...though you won't ever catch me going 160 kph on it.
Now that you've located Wells, UK for me, I think we actually have been when we visited Stonehenge. I thought it rang a bell. I am not courageous enough to drive in the U.K. Mr. Brattcat did the driving the first time we visited. Since then our daughter (who lives in the U.K.) has been kind enough to share her British boyfriend with us when we come on holiday and he does all the driving.
Very valuable Vespa! Vroom, vroom!
We are seeing more around here too. I don't think I would brave that speed on one though. Enjoy your Sunday!
I think it would be fun to ride one of these. You could get around town so easily and park just about anywhere. Not too good for winter though.
miss the vespas in mumbai now we have the hondas and the bajaj scooters dotting the city
The Vespa GTS you have pictured does indeed top 80 mph ... and quite comfortably, I might add. I rode mine from Seattle to San Francisco a couple years ago along the Coast Highway.
There are many "crazy" people among us -:)
Glad to see you! ... and that you made it there and back in one piece. You must have enjoyed the scenery and the ride totally, I imagine. When it comes to vehicles and highways, I'm a bit of a chicken. :)
Have a great day.
