Neat! Never seen this combo: water and fire.

Wow, there I was enjoying the shimmering water when you hit me with the ring of fire, so apt for the summer solstice and the old pagan feast taken over by christianity and called the feast of St.John.

The fire on the water is really cool! Nice series to show us the fountain progression!

What a fun place and a photographers dream. Imagine walking past this fountain and having it change to a ring of fire, without your knowing about that feature. Now, the icing on the cake would be if the sound system would play the Johnny Cash song, "Ring of Fire."

Have yourself a good weekend. May you get lots of good photos to share!

Nice series of shots. I heard they do something similar in Providence, RI on the river.

I think a trip to Montreal is overdue! This looks like a very fun thing to experience.

Yes, I like how this is phased. We have similar things here, but not as permanent structures. Mainly they are installed during the middle of winter for a month in a festival just finished called 'Vivid".

Water and fire : wonderful !
To answer your question :
It is fashionable in France: a vertical garden. Decorative and environmentalist... The Avignon one is intended to hide an ugly car !
