This sculpture isn't new is it ? I think I vaguely recall seeing it before - wasn't it red once upon a time ? I like it.

You're right. The other sculpture is very similar and is titled: Twin 6’ Hearts
 also by Jim Dine
(1999). The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts moves this red colored piece around so you may have seen it before, even in this exact same spot where the "3 hearts on a rock" currently sits.

These hearts are a pleasure for the eyes. Just a few feet away, you will also discover a hidden Montreal gem: the tiny garden beside the Church of St Andrew and St Paul. I'd love to see a photo of that! Maybe in a a few weeks, when the fountain is flowing and the foliage and flowered trees are creating their dappled shade?

hmmm....
Those hearts look to be as hard and cold as that of «Louis'» first wife, a.k.a. "World War I"...

@ Anonymous:
That is a lovely spot in the summer. I've seen office workers enjoying themselves there during their lunch break. I'll try. :)

@ Louis la Vache:
Hehe, thanks for dropping by. :)
